Got both when they came out on GameCube, then sold them both before beating them (both of their “collect all the things” quest at the end of the game irritated me to the point of not beating them) The only QUAD dippers I can think of are Metroid Prime 1+2. I bought it on PS4, never played it, then got it on PC on sale, never played it, and now it’s coming to Switch where I MIGHT play it now it’s on handheld.

I’ve double dipped on a TON of games, mainly from switching my 360/PS3 multi platform game library over to PC, and also because I used to sell all my games as a kid to pay for new games but then wanted them again when I got older and had more money. Many of the games I doubled dipped on were ones I bought on Xbox 360 when they would release the digital titles weeks after the retail launch, but they were games I ultimately wanted digitally, and so when they'd go on sale in the future for a few bucks I'd usually pick them up. I bought Half-Life 2 on Steam, then the Orange Box on 360 (retail), and then individually bought the standalone Portal: Still Alive (which had a challenge mode not in the original Orange Box), and then I believe I bought the Orange Box digitally once when it was on sale. Symphony of the Night, Resident Evil 4, much more. Same with any re-releases from PS2/Xbox generation or older. Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, Red Dead Redemption, GTAIV, Dishonored series, and lots more. Original PS2, PC retail, PC Steam, Xbox Double Pack w/ VC (Backwards Compat retail), Xbox 360 Backwards Compatible digital version from Xbox, Android or iOS version (forget which mobile one I bought).īut there's plenty of games I've bought twice, usually if I've bought the physical game and then later the game goes on sale and I buy the digital one, especially with Xbox backwards compatibility.
